Terms & Conditions

1. Due to the uncertainty surrounding the spread of Covid-19 and its variants, the Equestrian Therapy Co-Op requires all volunteers, parents, children over the age of 12 or other persons attending the therapy program to be fully vaccinated. We will require proof of vaccination.

2. If you are unable or unwilling to get vaccinated, please provide a proof of negative Covid test taken within 72hrs of the day you participate in or attend our therapy program.

3. Masks: While our program is conducted outdoors, it requires prolonged close proximity to others. Wearing a mask is recommended but is each individual's own decision to make.

The Equestrian Therapy Co-Op program is conducted on the Brandeis Bardin Campus which is owned and operated by the American Jewish University (AJU). AJU requires all employees and visitors to use Campus Clear.

Campus Clear is a FREE app where the user does a self health check.

We expect every individual attending our program to behave in a way that is courteous, respectful, supportive and co-operative at all times. Everyone should also treat the property, its indoors and outdoors facilities with respect. Any violent or verbally abusive behavior will not be tolerated and will lead to being escorted off the property.

How to: The preferred way to book a lesson is through our online booking system. You can also reach out to us directly should you experience any difficulty.

Cut-off time: New bookings will not be accepted past Friday night for the upcoming weekend. Volunteers should contact us directly via email or text after the cut-off time.

**Bookings include students and volunteers online registration. We never turn away more help but are limited in the amount of students we can accommodate.

The Equestrian Therapy Co-Op reserves the right to cancel its services at any time. Lessons may be cancelled due to inclement weather, Covid outbreak, special event taking place on the property or other circumstances. Volunteers, students and their families will be notified as soon as possible. Please understand that the weather can be unpredictable and change rapidly and create unsafe conditions potentially causing last minute cancellations.

Cancelations made by the client are accepted up to 24 hrs prior to the scheduled lesson for a full refund.

Cancelations made by the client less than 24 hrs in advance will incur a $25 fee per student. If the lesson was paid in advance, the client will receive a refund for the difference.

**Cancelation fees never apply to volunteers as we never charge anyone who comes to help out!
